Bugün sizlerle, Metin2 client paketlerine özgün bir dokunuş kazandırmak isteyen oyuncular için özel olarak tasarladığım iç item iconlarını paylaşmak istiyorum. Bu ikonlar, standart Metin2 paketlerinde yer almayan, tamamen orijinal ve detaylı çalışmalardır. Neden Kendi İkonlarımı Yaptım?
Metin2 oynamayı seven herkesin bildiği gibi, oyunun görsel tarafı bazen monoton olabiliyor. Özellikle item iconları, yıllar boyunca neredeyse değişmeden kalıyor. Bu yüzden, Metin2 client edit işlemleri yapan ve Metin2 pack dosyaları üzerinde çalışan ben, kendi tarzımı yansıtan, hem estetik hem de işlevsel iconlar üretmeye karar verdim. Bu iconlar, Metin2 eter pack içeriklerine bile uyum sağlayacak şekilde tasarlandı.

Tüm iconlar, 32x32 piksel çözünürlükte hazırlanmıştır ve Metin2 client texture sistemine tamamen uyumludur. These icons are completely original and detailed works that are not included in standard Metin2 packs. They will be especially enriching for players using Metin2 pvp client or Metin2 custom client, both aesthetically and functionally.
Why Did I Create My Own Icons?
As every Metin2 fan knows, the visual aspect of the game can sometimes become monotonous. Especially the item icons have remained almost unchanged for years. Therefore, as someone who works on Metin2 client edit processes and modifies Metin2 pack files, I decided to create icons that reflect my own style—both aesthetic and functional. These icons are designed to seamlessly integrate even with Metin2 eter pack content.
Technical Details and Compatibility
All icons are created at 32x32 pixels resolution and are fully compatible with the Metin2 client texture system. Saved in PNG format with alpha channel support, they integrate smoothly into Metin2 client effect layers. Users who inspect the contents by performing a Metin2 pack extract will find that the icons are compatible with the item_proto file. They have been tested on popular platforms like martysama client and metin2dev client without encountering any errors.
Content and Theme Selection
My icon set covers categories such as swords, shields, bracers, helmets, and special items. Each icon reflects the medieval worldview while being brought to life with modern graphic techniques. For example, I created entirely new visuals for items frequently used in pvp client, such as the 'Red Sword' or 'Dragon Shield'. Additionally, I expanded the color palette to allow compatibility with Metin2 client skin modifications.
How to Use?
1. Download the icon pack from the Metin2 pack download section.
2. Extract the contents using Metin2 pack extract.
3. Place the icons into the data/item folder.
4. Update the icon names in the item_proto file according to the relevant item IDs.
5. Don’t forget to back up before performing any Metin2 client patch!
